ADVERTISEMENT GENERAL GUIDELINES

Unacceptable Uses

The following is a non-exclusive list of content and behaviors that constitute unacceptable use:

a. Users shall use the IDEAS, LLC web site for lawful purposes only. Users shall not post or transmit through IDEAS, LLC any material which violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable, which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law, or which, without IDEAS, LLC’s express prior approval, contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to products or services. Any conduct by a user that in IDEAS, LLC’s discretion restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the IDEAS, LLC web site will not be permitted. Users shall not use the web site to advertise or perform any commercial solicitation, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of users to become subscribers of other on-line information services competitive with IDEAS, LLC.

b. The sending of unsolicited email (spamming) including without limitation the sending of advertisements or solicitations that do not clearly and conspicuously identify the message as an advertisement or solicitation, or do not include a valid physical postal address of IDEAS’ client. Users who utilize IDEAS’ services for spam are subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

c. Content that commits acts of copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property infringement.

c. Content that contains or links to nudity, pornography, adult content, sex, extreme violence, or foul language.

d. Content that contains, links to, or participates in pyramid schemes, gambling, raffles, lotteries, and so forth.

e. Content that posts or discloses personal identification information or private information of individuals under the age of 13, or in connection with materials directed toward individuals under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

f. Content that provides, sells, or offers to sell the following: controlled substances, illegal drugs and drug contraband, alcohol, weapons, pirated materials, pornography or sexual products, programs to attack others, illegal goods, escort services, instructions on making, assembling, or obtaining illegal goods or weapons, information used to break copyright or trademark violations, to destroy others’ property, or to harm any people or animals.

g. Content that takes part in, or allows any third party to take part in, the following: reverse engineering, reverse compiling or otherwise deriving the underlying source code or structure or sequence of IDEAS, LLC owned or licensed technology; individual password of Member sites or pages; altering copyright notices and attributes (unless permitted in writing by the author/owner); and such practices.
