When sending email correspondence to existing customers and prospects, we strongly recommend the use of permission-based or opt-in lists. This approach is being widely adopted today and serves to enhance the value of email communications.

We offer email services through a third party provider, Constant Contact. This service allows the user to register with IDEAS, LLC. in order to receive mailings as part of our News Letter list, and also provides the users with the ability to opt-out at any time following the receipt of each monthly News Letter with an included mandatory unsubscribe link. The right to receive the IDEALS, LLC News Letter is personal to registered users and is not transferable to any other person or entity. The IDEAS, LLC News Letter are for general information purposes only. We have been providing free access to receive our monthly News Letter since 2007, which includes a brief summary of the important news and economic changes occurring within Latin America. This brief research is supervised by IDEAS, LLC Board of Advisors, but is not intended to act as a financial adviser, to recommend specific investments or investment strategies, to provide trade recommendations, or to make any other economic recommendations (please see IDEAS, LLC ‘Terms of Use’ section).

Unacceptable Uses

The following is a non-exclusive list of content and behaviors that constitute unacceptable use:
a. Users shall use the IDEAS, LLC web site for lawful purposes only. Users shall not post or transmit through IDEAS, LLC any material which violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane or otherwise objectionable, which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law, or which, without IDEAS, LLC’s express prior approval, contains advertising or any solicitation with respect to products or services. Any conduct by a user that in IDEAS, LLC’s discretion restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the IDEAS, LLC web site will not be permitted. Users shall not use the web site to advertise or perform any commercial solicitation, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of users to become subscribers of other on-line information services competitive with IDEAS, LLC.
b. The sending of unsolicited email (spamming) including without limitation the sending of advertisements or solicitations that do not clearly and conspicuously identify the message as an advertisement or solicitation, or do not include a valid physical postal address of IDEAS’ client. Users who utilize IDEAS’ services for spam are subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
c. Content that commits acts of copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other intellectual property infringement.
c. Content that contains or links to nudity, pornography, adult content, sex, extreme violence, or foul language.
d. Content that contains, links to, or participates in pyramid schemes, gambling, raffles, lotteries, and so forth.
e. Content that posts or discloses personal identification information or private information of individuals under the age of 13, or in connection with materials directed toward individuals under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.
f. Content that provides, sells, or offers to sell the following: controlled substances, illegal drugs and drug contraband, alcohol, weapons, pirated materials, pornography or sexual products, programs to attack others, illegal goods, escort services, instructions on making, assembling, or obtaining illegal goods or weapons, information used to break copyright or trademark violations, to destroy others’ property, or to harm any people or animals.
g. Content that takes part in, or allows any third party to take part in, the following: reverse engineering, reverse compiling or otherwise deriving the underlying source code or structure or sequence of IDEAS, LLC owned or licensed technology; individual password of Member sites or pages; altering copyright notices and attributes (unless permitted in writing by the author/owner); and such practices.
Compliance with Laws

It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws including, but not limited to:

How to Notify Us of Spam Complaints

IDEAS, LLC. works very closely with our clients to eliminate unwanted emails. If you receive an unwanted email, please do the following:

• With the unwanted email in your browser, select the Forward function. If possible, include the full header from the unwanted email in what you forward to IDEAS, LLC.
• Use the phrase spam complaint as the Subject line.
• Add any additional information that will help us investigate and resolve the problem, e.g., “I opted out of this sender’s mailings on their web site in March”.
• Forward the email to:
• You will receive an email from us confirming that we have removed your email address from all our future mailings.

If you believe that or any user of has infringed your copyright in any material way, please notify IDEAS, LLC at and provide the following information:
1. An identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
2. An identification of the material on that you claim is infringing or is subject to infringing activity, with enough detail so that we can locate the material on our site.
3. Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
4. A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

What This Privacy Policy Covers This policy covers how IDEAS, LLC (hereinafter “IDEAS”) treats personal information that IDEAS collects and receives from users (a “User”) of the web site located at (the “Web Site”) on the world wide web that is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, email address, or phone number, registration number, and any other information that is not otherwise publicly available. Information Collection and Use General IDEAS collects personal information when a User registers an account with IDEAS, when a User utilizes IDEAS services, when a User visits IDEAS web pages or the pages of certain IDEAS partners.

When a User registers an account, IDEAS asks for information such as your name, email address, zip code, occupation, industry. This information is registered and managed by a third party service provider, Constant Contact. IDEAS automatically receives and records information on our server logs from each User’s browser, including your IP address, and IDEAS’ cookie information.

IDEAS utilizes this information for the following general purposes: to inform the users of new articles or changes in programs and services, to improve our services and inform you of products and services that may better meet your needs, to market new services to you that we think will be of interest to you, to contact Users, conduct research, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Information Sharing and Disclosure IDEAS does not rent, sell, or share personal information about Users with non affiliated companies, except for information where a User has requested, when IDEAS has obtained a User’s permission, or under the following circumstances: – We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights, or to defend against legal claims; – We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of IDEAS Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law. – It is possible that IDEAS, its subsidiaries, its joint ventures, or any combination of such, could merge with or be acquired by another business entity. Due to the existing regulatory environment, IDEAS cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), IDEAS may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Cookies IDEAS may set and access IDEAS cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card, and enables IDEAS to record your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.

Each use has the ability and responsibility to monitor, edit and/or delete the cookies and their associated preferences in their own system. General Each registered User can access and edit their account information at any time.

New categories of marketing communications may be added to the Marketing

We limit access to personal information about Users to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to Users or in order to do their jobs.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we collect online. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information and email addresses submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the World Wide Web, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to this Privacy Policy 2009 IDEAS have updated their 2008, 2007 Privacy Policy. We will notify Users about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in the IDEAS‘ mailing list or by placing a prominent notice on our Web Site. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, and will be subject to, the changes to the Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Web Site after such notice has been posted or email sent to the primary email address.

PRIVACY PROTECTION FOR CHILDREN. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will not knowingly provide access to IDEAS’s Web Site to persons under the age of thirteen (13). If IDEAS later learns that any registered user is under the age of thirteen (13), we will take appropriate steps to remove the member’s information from the database and we will restrict this individual from future access to the IDEAS’s Web Site.
