The American Red Cross has set up shelters in many southern states to house people displaced by the storms.

Important information:

As NOAA information on April 27, tornadoes in this month are on a record setting pace, with activity levels already placing it as one of the most active seasons recorded and historic outbreak of Tornadoes in Midwest expected to continue with  flooding along several major rivers in central US.
