Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake hits MEXICO
Mexico City, April 27, 2009. A moderate earthquake of 5.8 magnitude struck southwestern Mexico, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The earthquake rocked tall buildings in Mexico's Capital, sending office workers down stairways into streets. The earthquake was centered near Chilpancingo, about 130 miles southwest of Mexico City or 50 miles from the resort of Acapulco, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
